COMP LOC INSTALLATION - Patent Pending

Remove and discard the stock spring cup. Install the stock nut in your new COMP LOC spring cup and install on the sprocket shaft. Push on the COMP LOC spring cup while turning till you feel the COMP LOC splines engage with the splines on the extension shaft.

Remove nut and add Loctite and torque to the specs found in your Service Manual.  Install COMP LOC locking plate over the compensator nut, with red Loctite on the ¼-20 bolts torque to 80 to 100 inch pounds.  On Dyna models install the spacer under the lock plate, and use the longer ¼-20 bolts.  Follow the procedures in the H-D Service Manual to assemble the remainder of the primary.

Congratulations, you are done! And your compensator is now mechanically locked and can not work loose!
