Cam Side Shaft Repair

     The cam plate bushing wears down the crank pinion shaft bearing surface.  Resulting in oil leaking and no oil flowing to the crankpin bearings.  EMC in 2000 have modified this weakness by pressing on a Rockwell 62 hard sleeve on the crankshaft.  The new hardened sleeve diameter is same as the stock shaft so that the same cam support plate bushing can be used.  Years of proven miles have this repair to guarantee good seal at the cam support plate.  This good seal will always  provides for oil to flow to the rod bearings.
