High Torque Motors Tears up the Splines  

FLT models have a 45 amp rotor often fails at the spline, it is only .200 thick.

EMC replaces the center with a .575 thick spline and reduces the sleeve length by .375"

Review the factory procedures for the removal of the alternator rotor as outlined in the H-D Service Manual for your motorcycle. Be careful to follow all warnings and cautions found in the Service Manual.
